Hi, The history of the game of baseball has been well documented on a year-to-year basis, and a majority of progressive leagues replay this baseball history one or two years at a time. I wanted to break out of this year-to-year style, and provide a look at the game and its players from a different perspective. I also wanted a league that would have longevity and would make owners have to manage their rosters, make trades and have the feel that you never really knew who could be coming in the next draft. Essentially to run a progressive where the year you were currently playing didn’t dictate the initial draft pool or the future pools of rookies. The Page-a-Day Progressive is based around the birthdates of the players we will be selecting for the league. When signing up for the league, each owner will select a date (Month and Day) that is important to you (your birthdate, a family member’s birthdate, your anniversary, the date of your first MLB game, etc.) and a home ballpark for your team (dates and ballparks are exclusive).
